The Kikambala Children Initiative was born out of the compassion of a woman who, after visiting the area, was deeply moved by the devastating conditions the children were living in. Many of these children were at risk of being sold into early marriage, forced to sell their bodies for money, or abandoned by parents who could no longer care for them. The initiative was created to offer these children a lifeline—three nourishing meals a day, and the chance for an education that will give them a better future.
